Danie commenced his career as a candidate attorney with W.F Bouwer Attorneys in Pretoria. On completion of his articles, Danie continued with the firm as professional assistant specialising in administration of deceased estates & litigation.

Later, Danie moved to open his own law firm where he practiced under the name and style of Barnard Khan Attorneys, where he headed the litigation department. Danie provided legal assistance to many high-profile clients including Nedbank Ltd (Legal Foreclosures), Shackelton Credit Management (Legal Collections) and Standard Bank of South Africa (Deceased Estate Collections).

Danie is also an admitted Conveyancer and Notary, and has a master’s degree in Mercantile Law and Law of Contracts.
