Mufti Aamir completed his Islamic Jurisprudence studies at the Darul Uloom Zakariyya in 2007. He holds a Bachelors degree majoring in both Islamic Studies and Arabic.

Mufti Aamir has vast experience and knowledge of the Islamic banking industry as he served as the Shari’ah Advisor for The Standard Bank of South Africa between 2015 and 2021 and obtained his diploma in Islamic banking and Takaful through CIMA (UK).

He currently holds a position as a Shariah consultant for a number of companies, in addition to the above he is the head Imaam and Mufti of Masjid al Noor, as well as the appointed Head of the Islamic Department at Central Islamic School, Laudium.”
